  1. Is there a way to make Notifications appear when returning to the computer?

I need my notifications to remain onscreen until dismissed. And if I'm away from my computer (keeping it Locked), then I expect to see all notifications that would have appeared during my time away, once I log back in.

Apparently, the way Notifications work in Windows 10 is this:

-If you are logged in and using the computer, the notification will pop up at the bottom-right corner.

-If you are not at your computer, and it is locked, the notification WILL NOT appear at all, even when you unlock the computer later.

In the second case, you have to open the notifications list to see the notification you missed while you were away, but you wouldn't know to do that because YOU WEREN'T NOTIFIED THAT THERE WAS A NOTIFICATION TO CHECK.

This literally defeats the entire purpose of the notification system, which is to alert you if something occurs, or to remind you of an upcoming or missed appointment. Is there some way to force Windows 10 to display the notification UNTIL MANUALLY DISMISSED?

  4. Is there a way to make Notifications appear when returning to the computer?

    Microsoft News Notifications

Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications. The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

    • Get notifications from apps and other senders
    • Show notifications on the lock screen
    • Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
    • Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
    • Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows
You may just turn them off the notification as you need.
