    Is there a way to prevent your volume from going over a set percentage?


    So I just got a new headset and it has a dial on it thats a bit too gentle. If i accidentally scroll it too much it goes to super high volume and i have to throw my headphones off in sheer panic. Is there a way I can make windows stop me from trying to get it too high?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Playing Music at Constant Volume?

    I suggest using MediaMonkey to which you can analyse the track volumes and then lower them to increase them to what you want. That way all your music will be at the level you set it at.
