  1. Is there a way to save multiple photos all at once in the windows 10 mail app?

I saw a similar thread started in 2017 by Fred G. It's now locked. The one and only answer that was ever posted totally missed the mark as the reply indicated clearly that the respondent didn't understand the issue. Since the question still isn't answered and since that thread is now locked - I've decided to start this new one...

So, here's the scenario: I receive an email in the Windows 10 Mail app that contains multiple photos. I already know how to save them one-at-a-time. What I don't know, and hence the reason for these query, is how to save all the photos in an email AT ONE TIME instead of saving them one-at-a-time. I've tried holding the shift and/or the control key down to see if I could select multiple photos at once but no good. Doesn't work. I can only select one photo at a time.

I cannot believe that Microsoft still hasn't addressed this issue after 2+ years - or, if they have, I'd love to know the work around or the solution. It should be a straightforward thing but, then again, we are talking about Microsoft and it seems that name and the word "straightforward" just don't seem to sound right when used in the same sentence. But joking aside, I really like Windows 10 and think that Microsoft did a pretty good job with it. Nevertheless, this is a glaring shortcoming that has been the topic of at least one other thread (I'm sure there are countless more elsewhere on the web) all of which begs the question: Why hasn't this been addressed or fixed yet?

And, again, if there is a solution/fix/work around I'd be very grateful to the person who enlightens me/us.

    Thanks.

    Mark D.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Is there a way to save multiple photos all at once in the windows 10 mail app? :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
