Windows 10: Is there an activation switch required for Version 1909?

I installed v1909.



Windows Specifications:

Window 10 Pro

Version 1909

Installed on 7/4/2019

OS Build 18363.476



All the previous v1903 updates are also shown in the Update History, as they should be, according to what I read. Somewhere in the verbiage there was a statement about the v1903 being dormant and something about a "switch" to activate it. I can't re-find the verbiage and don't really know how I came about it in the first place. Is there anything I need to do to make sure my system is fully updated?

No you do not need to update to 1809 - 1903 if you are currently on version 1803, then version 1909 will appear in the list of updates and will automatically be installed on your PC since 1803 has run out of support

You do not need to do anything, 1909 is currently spreading around the world, just give it time to appear in the list of pending updates . . .

While there is no official release date, it is expected that version 1909, will be released approx. on Patch Tuesday in October (2nd Tuesday of October)

If you are already running, that will be downloaded automatically as a cumulative update to version 1903, rather than as a full Feature Update . . .

Otherwise, the release of 1909 will be similar to the 1903 release, it will be a stepped release to compatible devices first . . .etc.
