Windows 10: Is there seriously no fix to the audio popping / crackling issue with RealTek audio and...

I've been having audio popping/crackling issues, especially when playing games, for over a year and I've tried tons of solutions, but nothing helped.

Playing games for a while will cause the audio to crackle / pop in the game. Running LatencyMon while the game is running will also show high DPC latency (although you're not supposed to run LatencyMon while other stuff is running).

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

• I installed HWInfo, and all the temperatures for my CPU and GPU seem fine even when this problem occurs (around 56C for GPU and 40C for CPU).
• I ran memtest and got all tests passing (4 cycles through all the tests)
• I tried checking the BIOS, but there didn't seem to be any OC settings I'd made. Everything was set to auto, and the memory frequencies matched what I saw in memtest. I'm running BIOS version F7 for the Z390 Aoerus Elite.
• Updated drivers (video and sound)
• Changed to 44100 Hz and 16 bit and various other sound bit rate settings
• Disabled/Enabled audio enhancements
• Disabled Nvidia audio devices in device manager
• Tried different computer ports and headphones
• Disabled Exclusive mode for sound
• Ran LatencyMon, it shows high latency: https://i.imgur.com/CkBpT2k.png . However I am on the high performance power plan, minimum processor state is set to 100%, and I've never set and CPU throttling options in the BIOS.
• Updated BIOS to latest version (F10g)
• Disabled fast startup
• Computer is on high performance power mode.

None of these things fixed the problems.

I haven't overclocked anything that I know of.

This has been driving me insane for over a year, and I've tried everything I found online. Other people I've seen with this problem online seem to just give up on fixing the problem. Is it just an issue with Windows 10 that they haven't fixed for over a year??

Audio driver issue (realtek)

I have hp 15-bc008tx, windows 10 creators update.

As you all know it comes with b&o play which is the main culprit in my issue. I found an solution online( link at the bottom) which suggested me to remove realtek HD audio driver (default) and go with high definition audio driver from Microsoft and to uninstall
realtek from control panel. I did as said and audio worked fine for one reboot no issue whatsoever but from the next reeboot onwards though the driver is still high definition (Ms) issue came back. I repeated the steps ,again fine audio for one reboot and
messed up for next reboot. I guess even though realtek is uninstalled it's somehow loading in the subsequent reboot. Please help me changing driver everytime for a movie is not enjoyable.

Crackling audio. Skyrim + other games

USB headphones have never been kind to me. They always hiss, pop and crackle. The fact that you can hear it when no audio is being played suggests it's a power /connection issue.

Do you have any 3.5mm or RCA based headphones you can try?

 

Audio Pop/Stutter/Crackle When Stopping Audio

I've been having this issue for the past two days, and I've tried everything to no avail.
Basically this is the issue:
I get a pop/crackle when I suddenly stop audio.
What I'm running:

• Schiit Uber Stack.
• Win 10 PC.

What I've tried:

• Tried onboard audio, still get the problem.
• Tried onboard audio on both my PC and laptop, still get the problem.
• Tried my stack on both PC and laptop, still get the problem.
• Tried using a DPC latency checker, everything seems fine there.
• Tried different headphones just in case, wasn't the issue.
• Tried changing audio format, still get the problem.
• +literally tried 99 other things *Tongue

That pop is happening when I suddenly stop the sound effect. I get that pop when a Windows notification shows up. My friend's voice on Discord also pops every couple of seconds (100% sure it's not his mic).
Any help is appreciated!
(Just to clarify, I made sure it's not a hardware issue, so something within Win 10 is screwing with me)
