    Is this a microsoft scam


    I received a call supposedly microsoft in Reading advising me my pc was being hacked and my details used by foreign nationals. microsoft were trying to prevent my information and their systems bring compromised. She was quite insistent I should go on my pc immediately and she would help me solve problems/help with error messages and advise what to do. I was unable to go on my pc for a variety of reasons so she is calling tomorrow. The call was an 0203 area code. Background noise was 'call centre" type. I think this is a scam, but would like confirmation if possible. I told her no personal info
