    ISO Hash Verification


    hello everyone i just got off the phone with ms tech support and 6 reps 2 departments later nobody has a clue what i'm talking about

    so i've downloaded the iso from the media creation tool and directly from the ms websiteboth Win10Homex64 iso files are 3.99GB but ms tech support says they should be 5GB and i'm not downloading it right, whatever that means.

    my SHA256 checksum is 40CBCEC43B7FA2BD32816AA875195058B6E5A54FA9495519E066EE29D4A3416E can someone verify the sha256 hash they get for their Windows 10 Home 64bit ISO file

    here is the Poweshell cmd to pull a hash from a file:

    Get-FileHash -Path c:\Users\<yourUserName>\Desktop\Windows.iso -Algorithm SHA256 (if it's on the desktop)

    I have download Win8.1_English_x64.iso file from Download Windows 8.1 using my android in multiple installments. Now I want to make sure that my ISO is not corrupted so I checked my hash
    value using File Checksum Integrity Verifier version 2.05. Now how can I check that my hash value is correct or my file is corrupted. Please help me as soon as possible.
