Windows 10: ISO

I would guess what he did was buy a brand new computer with Windows 10 on it and did not update his system specs for the new computer. Then he did this:

When asked for the option of what to keep:




He picked the Nothing option.

To avoid confusion on any forum, it's always a good idea to update your specs to match the computer you're working on. It's also a good idea to explain what you're actually doing
I bought a new machine with Windows 10 pre-installed and I want to do a Clean re-install to remove the OEM bloatThat would have cut out all of the extraneous commentary. There were a good number of members scratching their heads. *Smile

No big deal, glad you got it sorted and learned a bit about ISOs.

I have 2 laptops and 2 desktops, which one should I enter into my system specs? I may have an issue on any one of them and post it here or 8 forums or maybe even 7 forums. Might not even be my PC that I'm working on. I just say in the thread if its my laptop or desktop and give the model number. A lot easier than editing all my system specs in my profile. I could also have two threads on the go at the same time dealing with issues on two different PC's. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. *Wink I hardly ever look at the system specs unless the OP states "as per my system specs". Just my 2 cents.
