Windows 10: Issue regarding Taskbar icons

I have been having a problem with my taskbar icons recently. Whenever I right click on things like file explorer, it will show File explorer, unpin from taskbar, and my the recent 20 files I opened. It wont show the files and will instead show file explorer and unpin from taskbar. Under that it blank and shows a part of the screen which would be covered if my recent 20 files showing up. I dont know if this is a glitch or virus or anything of the sort and I need help with it.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.
