    Issue when trying to startup to UEFI settings


    I installed a Dell 2560 x 1440 WQHD monitor as my main screen (I have two more displays). But I get a blank screen when I go to Advanced Startup trying to startup to UEFI settings. So I unplug the high definition monitor before doing the UEFI boot so that I could see the startup screen

    I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    uefi firmware settings

    I did have UEFI Firmware Settings under settings / update and security / recovery / advanced startup - restart now

    and then under troubleshooting /advanced

    but it is no longer listed... how can I get the UEFI Firmware settings back into recovery?
