    Issue with bluetooth headphones

I normally use a pair of Sony WH-100XM3 with my Windows 10 laptop. Up until the other day, when I clicked on the volume icon in the bottom right corner of the scree, I had two options, headphones and headset. The headphones have a mic and are able to make calls with a phone. I was using them as headphones then when I needed to use the mic I would change it to the headset.

For some reason that option has disappeared and in the Sound Contol Panel, the headset option says disconnected even when the headphones are connected. Disabling the headphones and attempting to enable the headset in the sound control panel does not work. I tried uninstalling the drivers, unpairing and restarting but I still do not get the option to use these headphones as a headset when I repair them.

I was using this feature up until a few days ago but now it is not working.

    Can anyone help? Thanks

    :)

    Wireless Headphones & Bluetooth

If your computer has Bluetooth it is very easy to setup your headphones. Just turn them on and go into the Bluetooth settings. Then look for your headphone in the list of devices. If they are listed you just need to pair them to the computer.

    Issue with bluetooth headphones

    Bluetooth not recognising headphones

Bluetooth on my PC recognises, pairs with and works with an ear piece headphone/mic.
Bluetooth on my Smartphone recognises, pairs with and works with an Ausdom headphone.
    Therefore all hardware works.

However, PC Bluetooth will not recognise, let alone pair with, Ausdom headphone.

I have tried re-boots, turning Bluetooth on/off, uninstalling, re-loading drivers, etc. I have run out of ideas.

    Any suggestions please?
