    hello thereI have an issue i just noticed so i dont when it startedWhen i launch a scan with win10 for my hard disk space, win10 find 5.6Go of temp files. but i click on the details, there is only few Moit's the same if i go in winkey+R >> temp... or %temp%... or prefetch.... only some Moso there is 2 ways... i have 5.6Go lost in the wind i cant delete... or the 5.6go is a display bug from the win10 toolif its a display bug well.... it's ok well, not reallybut if its not i really need to delete these 5.6Goi used a software windirstat and i find nowhere these 5.6Goi dont understand

    • What happens, when you try to delete temp files?
    I suggest you to follow these methods below and check, if it works:

    Method 1:

    • Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
    • Type "temp" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
    If the issue persists, follow method 2.

    Method 2:

    • Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
    • Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
    If the issue persists, follow method 3.

    Method 3:

    I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode, then perform disk cleanup on Windows 10 and check, if it works.

    Unable to Delete Temporary Files on Windows 10

    Seems to me that the replies above are skirting the issue: Why is it next to impossible to delete TEMP files in Windows 10. I have tried all the tools in Win10 and all the suggestions I've read in forums, but I am still unable to delete the TEMP files.
    Is this a bug in Win10?

    Hello Bruce,

    Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

    Step 1

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type temp and click OK
    • Press Ctrl + A and click Delete


    Step 2

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type %temp% and click OK
    • Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

    Step 3

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type prefetch and click OK
    • Press Ctrl + A and click Delete
