Windows 10: Issues after updating to Windows 10

A few months ago I had an issue with Windows 7 - It was sending all my emails hotmail.com to my deleted email folder. Someone suggested that I update to Windows 10 using Windows 10 Media Creation Tool so I did. It fixed my email problem but after update I had 2 problems: 1 In the task bar next to speaker icon it has a red x and when you hover cursor over it it shows message "No audio device is installed" does not recognize dell speakers w/subwoofer. not sure if a driver issue or something else. do not know speaker model #'s since they are not listed 2 The more serious issue is the speed is ridiculously slow. Sometimes not too bad. It is across all browsers. It will take 5 minutes or longer to open email at times and 2-3 minutes to delete emails. I try another browser and it is the same. Even outside email it sometimes may take 2, 3 or more minutes going from one page to the next. I just reloaded w10 and it is still the same 2 issues. Does anyone have any ideas other than getting another computer which I am contemplating???

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
