Windows 10: Issues enabling IE mode within Edge Chromium,

Hello,

Just wanted to ask if there was a more up to date guide for enabling the IE mode within Edge Chromium? I know that there is a flag that needs enabling within the browser for this feature but I cannot find the IE integration flag within the settings.

I've been referencing guides like https://www.onmsft.com/how-to/how-to-enable-and-use-internet-explorer-mode-in-the-new-microsoft-edge

The flag no longer seems to exist in edge://flags/#edge-internet-explorer-integration .



Has there been a change or does the feature even exist anymore?

Can't get Open in IE Mode to show in the More Tools menu of new Edge

Hi. I installed the Chromium Edge browser yesterday and everything works well except that I can't get it to show the Open in IE mode. I referred to this link Steps to enable Internet Explorer Mode in new Microsoft Edge as well as some others but no success. Not really a big deal as I really rarely use IE for anything but I'd like to know why I can't get that function to work. Anyone else encounter this issue? Thanks in advance for any replies. Using Windows 10 1903.

Since you posted to the Windows 10 forum, if you are running Windows 10, do you not have Internet Explorer installed on your PC?

Click your Start Button, then just type ie does Internet Explorer appear in the resulting list?

Otherwise, the Internet Explorer Mode is not currently available in Edge, it is coming in the new Edge Browser that is based on the Chromium Engine and that is only due to arrive in a couple of months, for now, there is no Internet Explorer Mode in Edge . .

Microsoft Edge - IE "Mode" or Tab

My company uses several legacy websites and I'd like to use them using the recently enable IE "mode" in Microsoft Edge. However, I cannot seem to find any guides for doing this. The YouTube video is helpful in regards to understanding the history and need for this mode, but he glosses over the nitty-gritty of getting it set up.

What steps are necessary to open a legacy website in an IE "mode" tab in Edge?
