Windows 10: Issues installing Microsoft Flight Simulator on Microsoft Surface Book 2

Hello there,


I tried to install Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Microsoft Store App as well as from the website. In the Store app it shows the error codes 0x803FB107 for the bundle and 0x80D03002 for the subordinate items.



Also the Xbox App shows the 0x80D03002.

When I login to the website and try to install from there it says that no suitable devices are connected to my Microsoft account.

The so-called not suitable device is a Surface Book 2 with Windows 10 Version 2004:


Via accounts.microsoft.com it's clearly visible the devices are connected.

Why do we get such issues? This doesn't make any sense, since we are clearly above the minimum requirements. I should have bought it on Steam. At least those users can download and install the application... Silly me thinking that a Microsoft product should be acquired via a Microsoft Store.

The game is one month on the market now. Those issues should be long fixed... anyway I appreciate every help here.

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

Could you please perform the store clear cache, download and re-install the flight simulator. and verify if it will function this time without crashing

Steps:

1 Close the Microsoft Store app if currently open.

2 Press the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog.

3 Type WSReset.exe into Run, and click/tap on OK.

4. Uninstall the Microsoft Flight Simulator

5. Open Microsoft Store app. download Microsoft Flight Simulator

6. install the Microsoft Flight Simulator

7. run as admin the Flight Simulator

Follow the steps below on how to install Microsoft flight simulator xin compatibility mode:

1. Download the Microsoft flight simulator xfrom the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the Microsoft flight simulator xinstall and then check the functionality.
