Windows 10: Issues Installing Windows On New Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3

Hello,I recently purchased a brand new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and I have been having issues installing Windows. I have tried downloading Media Creation Tool onto flash drive, but it simply won’t boot. According to forums this might indicate hard drive issue. I don’t know what else to do, I’m not exactly tech savvy and would appreciate anyone’s suggestions.

Synaptic's Driver Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 for Windows 10

I am having trouble finding a Synaptic's driver for the Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 so that more functions can be used on the touchpad. Lenovo site does not list one for this computer. Any suggestions?

 

Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 Starter Edition - Lenovo Ideapad s10-3

I have a Lenovo Ideapad S10-3. I bought it new a few years ago and it came with Windows 7 Starter Edition, and Service Pack 1.



I’ve tried to install Windows 10 a couple of times now, unsuccessfully.
I have tried two methods:

• 
  By installing updates. My Ideapad clearly indicated it was ready to install the Windows 10 update.
  An icon appeared in the right hand corner confirming this.
  
• 
  Downloading the Windows 10, Windows Installer and running it.
  
  
  
  On both occasions I received the following error - C1900101-40017 - Windows update encountered an unknown error.
