Windows 10: Issues with media feature pack

Hello, I'm having issues with the media feature pack. My games that use this feature crash on startup RE2:Remaster and Dauntless.

I installed the pack via this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48231 installed both 32 and 64bits just in case but still crashes.

Found this other link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack but there's no edition for my version 1909 so I downloaded the 1903 one and it didn't work, it says "This update is not applicable to your computer".

Also checked for updates on Windows Update and "You're up to date" so there's no update available. GPU driver is up to date too. I ran out of options, there's no working version of media feature pack for 1909? I don't want to reinstall windows to a previus version.

Problem with Media Feature Pack.

I seem to be running into similair issues. After the update, features reliant on the Media Pack stopped functioning correctly, so I reinstalled the pack, which did not have any effect. After following your steps, I noticed that the Media Feature Pack was
not even listed as a feature on my PC. Further help would be highly appreciated!

When I follow these steps Media Features are not listed, despite having downloaded and installed the Windows Media Feature Pack! Please help! Can't install GTA: V! Aaaargh!

It could be due to a corrupted installation for Groove or the media pack.

I would suggest you uninstall & reinstall both or perform the following troubleshooting steps listed in this microsoft support article.
