Windows 10: Issues with Minecraft

Hello. Whenever I press on minecraft it does nothing, updated minecraft, same problem, updated windows, same problem and when i try to open a .mcaddon file, which works before but now gives me a registry error and on the launcher it says failed to start, i have worlds on there that I need to keep so I cant uninstall and reinstall it, is there any fix and if i do have to un and reinstall it, any way i can back up the worlds. was trying to add images for reference but they failed to upload

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
