Windows 10: Issues with Windows 10 recently (not opening apps/hanging on restart unless I do it myself)

Ok so bit of a problem here with Windows 10 since I updated to version 2004 and it's a weird one.

Whenever I've been on my pc for a few hours or more and I go to shutdown, restart or launch some apps it either doesn't open the apps at all or just hangs the pc on the shutdown/restart screen.

It's only been happening recently and I've ran every hardware scan, file check scan, antivirus and god knows what imaginable including a fresh install.

Just wondering if it's an issue with the current version of Windows as I can't go back to 1909 as I don't have it saved anymore?

Pc specs are listed below if it helps.

CPU... I3 8100

GPU... GTX 1050 ti 4gb

Mobo... Asus Prime Z370-a

RAM... Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4

PSU... Corsair RM 650X

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
• Are you facing this issue in Local account or the Microsoft account?
