Windows 10: It is asking for a PIN and I do not have one?

Hello,


Recently I have tried to install minecraft windows 10 version on another computer using my microsoft account. However when I am in the shop - it asks for a PIN and I do not have one.


I went to my account settings to try and disable the PIN as I have seen in previous threads and got this



It prompts me to login to my university account which I proceed to do and then it asks for a PIN again?


To my knowledge I have never installed a PIN and even if I did and I forgot, I tried all combinations that I would've most likely picked

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

If you signed in to Windows 10 using your Microsoft account, the Xbox app will take the credentials you've used to sign in. There's a possibility that the PIN code you're asked to enter is the PIN code of your Windows 10 user account. Let's remove the PIN
code. Here are the steps:

• Click Start and select Settings.
• Select Accounts.
• Select Sign-in options, under PIN, click
  Remove.
• Confirm the changes by entering your profile password.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
