Windows 10: It looks like we've temporarily run out of gift codes for Minecraft for Windows 10.

I recently learned that because I purchased the Java edition of Minecraft several years ago I was supposed to be able to get a free copy of Minecraft for Windows 10. I also learned that this will no longer be the case after April 20, 2020.


When I log into my Mojang account, I do see the button, but when I click it I get the following error message:Error! It looks like we've temporarily run out of gift codes for Minecraft for Windows 10. Don't worry though, more codes should be on their way. Please check back later!

I am wondering is this something that will be taken care of before April 20th the deadline?

Minecraft Windows 10 code not generating

I am having a problem with claiming my gift code from the mojang website for windows 10 minecraft, whenever I press "Claim my free copy" I get a message saying "error! It looks like we've temporarily run out of gift codes for Minecraft for Windows 10. Don't
worry though, more codes should be on their way. Please check back later!" I have been a java edition player since 2013, and I really want to play minecraft through cross play with my friends on xbox, does anyone know a way to fix this issue?

If you are new member then you can try their gift code just after login to your account. I did that and it worked.
Or alternatively, you can find latest working coupon at giftcardspromocodes.com/minecraft-coupon-codes-free-premium-account-gift/ ,retailmenote.com and few other sites.

Hi,

I have owned Minecraft java edition since 2015 and I am looking to get the windows 10 version. I did not get it sooner as I had no need for it. Now that cross-play is across all platforms, I would love to play with friends. I have gone to the Mojang page
