  2. itunes opening automatically on login

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to stop iTunes to open automatically:

    • Open Task Manager.

    • Select the Startup Tab.

    • Right click any app in the Startup menu and select Disable.
If this does not fix the issue, then this needs to be taken care during installation of iTunes, so you may uninstall iTunes and reinstall it and make sure you check for the startup option during the setup wizard of iTunes.

Hope this information is helpful. Please do let us know if you need further assistance, we’ll be glad to assist you.

  4. itunes option missing in "open with" drop down menu

iTunes 12.4.3.1 is incompatible with Windows 10

    Hi,

We do have an option for you to use if your program only works with Windows 7. You can perform Compatibility with a certain program such as your iTunes. To do this, you can check the steps below:

    • Look for the program on the Start Menu.
    • Right click and select Open file location.
    • Find the program and right click on it again, and then select Properties.
    • Go to the Compatibility tab.
    • Select Compatibility mode and on the drop down menu, select Windows 7.
    • Do a test and check if the program is running?

If issue still persists, it would be best to check with the program developer and verify if there is another option available for iTunes to work in Windows 10.

Let us know how it goes.
