    Japanese IME kanji guessing


    Whenever I use the Microsoft Japanese IME keyboard, it has a little text window where it offers suggestions for what kanji to use. I'd like to turn it off, because I need to study the words in hiragana. Any advice would be great.

    Since you have an issue with converting Japanese languages typed from Hiragana to Kanji, we suggest uninstalling/reinstalling the Japanese language pack. You may download the Japanese language using the Language Control Panel.

    Japanese IME kanji guessing

    Microsoft IME Japanese keyboard layout Windows 10

    I am having the same problem.

    But I fixed at least the keyboard design.

    By adding the QWERTY Japanese keyboard in language settings.

    The problem is that I cannot write any Hirgana or Kanji now.

    The button to the left of the 1 (the one that says Kanji, hankaku and zenkaku) is not functional and I am not sure of how to handle this. I can only get IME input when I change to the Japanese region but then all system settings turn into Japanese ... someone
    knows what to do?
