Windows 10: jar files wont open with java.

hello! i wanted to download minecraft shaders, i followed a guide on how to download everything but when i try to open up the files i downloaded optifine and complementary shaders they dont open! the error message says "unable to access jar file" and i haven't been able to find anybody with the same problem as me!!!!!! pls help :-

As a side note to Easy Rhinos comment, you can only jar .class files, meaning that you need to compile all the .java files and them jar the .class files resulting from the compilation. Example:

I am trying to to download the .jar files for minecraft forge/world-edit. I have adobe illistrator installed on my computer as well just for personal use. So anyway, the jar file wants to open with adobe illistrator and it wont let me open with java. Any
help would be nice. Thanks

if you know the manual then you know you dont put the code in the program, you convert all of your java class files into a jar file using their compiler.
