Windows 10: JBL Flip 2 will pair with PC but sound from apps will play through headphones

So the title says it all. I have done every thing I can think of and have read through google searches. I have uninstalled the drivers and restarted the computer for re install. I have disconnected the device and deleted it. I have checked specifically for JBL Flip 2 drivers and used the intel driver support application. I have gone through all the settings I know possible. The device pairs with my computer, says all drivers and the device itself is running fine but when I use apps such as Spotify the music is still played through my headphones that are plugged into my PC. I used to be able to get this device to work just fine but as of recently it just stopped playing sounds from apps. The device pairs fine with my phone and plays audio from that so I know the device itself is still working. The testing sounds also play through the speaker when connected/paired. Help?

JBL Flip 2 stopped playing!?! for no reason!!!

My JBL FLIP 2 just flat out stopped playing for no reason.

It was not dropped. It simply stopped playing.

Every device that connected to it before this occurred seems to pair problem free, but NO OUTPUT whatsoever!

It is fully charged and connects to my phones, computers & iPad, but does not play ANY output!

I've done resets & reconnections on all devices INCLUDING the JBL Flip 2, but nothing works!

(holding down the phone and volume button, etc).

It seems to connect without a hitch, but will simply NOT PLAY.

I connected with a plug in wire, but to no avail!

Anybody have any suggestions?

 

Jbl flip 2 audio fix?

Hi, I was wondering if there was an audio fix for the Jbl flip 2 bluetooth speaker... I accidentally dropped the speaker now when i play music or anything no sound comes out... It is fully charged and on when i try to play music... Please help! Thanks!
