    Jpg images not large enough to view properly don't change from large to extra large in view.


    Images don't change from large to extra large in view- Medium to Large works. When going from Large to XL image size is the same and does not change, it just shows more text and spreads the images out.


    I currently have Windows 10. My topic selection might not be correct.

    Everything else works just fine.

    It seems like windows 10 won't read any icons in large or extra large.

    Files & Folders View as medium or large Icons

    To assist you better, we would suggest that you try to follow the steps below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Once you are viewing a folder, right click an empty space within the File Explorer window and select View from the dialogue menu, then choose Large or any icon you wanted to use. Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut keys on the keyboard to
      change your View settings:
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 1 Extra Large
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 2 Large icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 3 Medium Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 4 Small Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 5 List
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 6 Details
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 7 Tiles
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Content
    3. Once you have the view set, you can make it the default view for

    every folder.

    4. Click Apply, then click OK.

    Update us on the result.

    Windows Explorer Extra Large Icons View Not Working - Part 2

    1. I don't have an option in control panel for Extra Large Icons, only Large and Small. Does it depend on how I open Control Panel?

    2. If you click on the link I provided above to my original post, you'll see a full explanation of what exactly happens when I click on the Extra Large Icons option.

    Here are some screen shots. First two are from my notebook, large and extra large icon views. Last 2 are from my desktop, large and extra large icon views. There's a huge difference between the extra large icon view on my desktop and my notebook. Large
    Icon View is almost identical. By the way, I'm running Windows 7 on my desktop, Windows 10 on my notebook.
