Windows 10: July 2020 Windows Update - Taskbar Color

After I installed the latest Windows update my taskbar color changed from blue to light grey and I can't change it back. Does anyone know how I can change the color?

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I want to apologize if you encountered this issue. I understand you have a problem with taskbar color suddenly changed.

Press Start then search Settings

Select Personalization > Colors

Choose your Color

Windows mode > Dark

App mode > Light

Under Show accent color on the following surfaces

Put a check > Start, taskbar and action center

Choose your color from Windows colors if it helps

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.
