Windows 10: jumbo size

My sons screen is stuck on Jumbo sized even after we use the tool to make it smaller, what can we do to fix it

Follow the steps to change the font size:

• Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
• Select "System".
• You can change the font size here.

Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

• Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
• Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

Jumbo Frame Option Visibility for Ethernet Adapter

okay so open up Local Area Connection status.(LACS)

that is

• network and sharing center --> Local area connection-->LACS-->properties----->
• ---->client Microsoft networks --click on configure--> on tab Advance you will see a setting for jumbo frame do what you please from there

Jumbo Frames

Jumbo frames will only work if set to the same value on each device, so you would need to set it on your NAS and also you will need a fully managed switch and set your PC and NAS ports to use jumbo frames. only setting it on your desktop will make the packets fragment back to 1500 bytes, having a decent setup (good NIC in desktop and a speedy NAS) and using jumbo frames will get you close to the limit of 1gbps network, i get around 123MB/s network transfer speed, theoretical max is 125MB/s but you have to take into account overheads so you would never get 125MB/s
