  2. ATTN: Greg Carmack – Windows MVP

    I've gone to Advance and put the Passport Drive in again as the backup drive. This time when I click on 'Backup Now' it seems to back it up. It only takes a minutes or less.

    But when I got to the File Explorer then to my Passport Drive, I see a System Volume Information created a few minutes ago but nothing in it.

    I checked further up the list and see a folder called 'File History' that was created a couple hours ago when I first begin playing with this. That has got info in it but what I backup now, though it says 'last backup at 5.54 pm' there's nothing I see in
    the Passport drive to coordinate with that time.

    If you've got any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

    Current Status of Windows 10 October 2018 Update version 1809

    Go to this post: Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update failing with 0xc1420121 Scroll down to the post by Greg Carmack 3rd one down, and follow the steps and procedures he has laid out and see if his advice helps. Some of the steps you have already done but there are others that look promising like the third step in the first link, it asks about the servicing stack, hey! Maybe you have a bum one and it needs fixed.

    Greg is a member here as gregrocker, and him and I worked together for many years over on SevenForums to clear BSOD's and get members machines working again, his final solution is to go the clean install route, but if that's what it takes your gonna have to bite the bullet.

    I see IZ89 has replied, that repair install looks tempting...

    Hello,

    The pop up message that you're getting can be due to the GREG program installed in your device. For us to check and verify, we can uninstall the program. Follow the steps below:

    • Type Control Panel in the search field at the taskbar. Click on
      Control Panel
      in the results.
    • Select Programs.
    • Click on Programs and Features.
    • Look for GREG in the list of your programs.
    • Once located, right-click on it and select Uninstall.
    • Check if the issue has been corrected.

    Update us on how it goes.
