Windows 10: Just purchased MS Windows 10 Home, no email with Product Key

Hi,


I just purchased Microsoft Windows 10 home. I did this via the PC I wanted to activate. I logged into my Microsoft account and paid with the stored credit card details. The PC was activated successfully. However, no email was sent to my account with the license details after the purchase! I can see the machine as a "Device" in my online account.


This activated PC has a fault with it's Ethernet adapter now and has completely failed (I218-V). I want to re-install Windows 10 onto the same machine to fix this issue. But I don't know the license key.


What options do I have in terms of licence key handling? How can I rebuild this faulty machine with the same license key (when I find out what it is)?

No product key after Windows 10 purchase

• How did you upgrade to windows 10?
• Have you done clean install?
• Are you getting any error message?
• From where have you purchased the Windows 10?

If you have purchased from online Microsoft store or any store I suggest you to contact them for the product key.

I lost my original MS Insider Product Key for Windows 10 Help!

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• What do you mean by Windows 10 product key?
• Are you referring to previous Windows key?
• From where did you purchase the product key?

If the operating system was preinstalled (OEM) then I suggest you to contact the manufacturer or if you have purchased the product key from retail store like Microsoft store or from any store I suggest you to contact them to get the Original Windows product
key only then we can activate the Windows 10.

WINDOWS 10 PRODUCT KEY / PREVIOUSLY ACTIVATED

WHY, if MY pc's, are listed, on MY microsoft account, can't I find and or store, their assigned 'product key', so I don't have to find, store or locate product keys from my devices?

FOR instance. I have 1 of 9 pc's, that gets needs a hard drive replacement. I attempt to download and install windows 10 and activate, as instructed, but NEED / want / desire to use the code aka product key, already assigned and NOT go through the attempt
of writing this crap down and remembering it.

MS Office, for instance, when purchased ONLINE, gave me a website, to download it, again, in the future IF I needed it. Sent me the product key. I store this email and have used it, several times as it was good for up to, 3 pc's.

Funny thing is, even with ALL my calls to MS, providing them, 'these' product keys, their very own emails, I still cannot coerce MS, to 'list' or 'store' MY purchase, of 'their' product, on MY microsoft account, that 'they' sold me... Confused yet?

Simply put.

The solution..

"Allow US, the 'consumer', aka 'customer' to NOT ONLY, list our pc's, but.... SAVE OUR PURCHASES / MS product keys.. on OUR Microsoft Accounts."

PLEASE

IF NOT, atleast explain, 'why' WE the consumer, have NO ability/ or 'right' to do so, and or 'why' MS doesn't 'listen' to it's consumers.

OR.. maybe, I've just missed their Best Customer Service reps and NOBODY is in the know, how I do this/ fix this.
