Windows 10: Just updated to 20H2 - screensaver does what it wants!

My computer just auto-updated to 2020-10 Security for Flash, 2020-10 Cumulative for 2004 and 2020-10 Cumulative for .NET... and I seem to have lost all control of screensaver. I had it set to Blank screen after 240 minutes and it blanks the screen after 5 minutes. Had the Power set to turn off Never and was changed to 15 minutes.

How can I either save and restore my settings or lock my settings so Microsoft can't arbitrarily change them?

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.
