    Kali Linux too little memory to start?


    Hi, first of all: I have Kali Linux as dual boot alongside Windows 10.

    The other day I tried to crack my WLAN password. But the wordlist was a few petabytes big. After a few seconds, however, crunch (tests each password for the correct one) aborted the process because there was not enough memory available. After a reboot (see pictures) I had no graphical interface.

    In picture 1 you can see what comes after I have started Kali Linux. Then I have to enter my username, then my password (picture 2) and after that I can execute commands as root.

    So I made Kali Linux as the 2nd boot:

    I did everything exactly as described in the video (because of partitions)

    acctually i want to install the kali linux on hyper v

    so i didnot want the headache of installing the kali linux as it takes to much time

    Kali linux installation

    My understanding is, you need to boot in Kali Linux first. You should be able to configure this option from within the BIOS. When you start the computer, press F12 at the BIOS and choose the drive or partition Kali Linux is installed on.
