    How to remove or uninstall some of windows defender (the recent updates) in windows 10?

    I believe that these updates makes HP assistant stop working.

    Thanks for your help !!

    There is no error code when attempting to update Windows Defender. KB2267602 just hangs up and remains that way until I try the aforementioned resolutions.

    There were very few error messages when I performed the Windows Update Troubleshooter (WUT). One parameter (the first) was yellow each time. After each time I ran the WUT, I checked for the existance of KB2267602. If it was there, I would run it again until
    KB2267602 disappeared. I also discovered that if I ran WUSHOWHIDE after the first WUT, it would also remove (or hide) KB2267602.

    With all of this being said, all 10 of my computers and my wife's computer started working properly (but strangely) on May 28th. Each computer now seems to download KB2267602. After the download and installation, KB2267602 disappears. This has happened once
    before only to have all of the computers starting once again to hang on KB2267602.

    I truly appreciate your help,

    me too. In the Update history, it shows many many successfully update of KB2267602, and the Definition is slightly different.
    (eg. 1.203.736, 1.203.767, 1.203.772, 1.203,800, ......), as I have checked many time for Windows 10 upgrade, there are over 10 entries of KB2267602 already.

    Yes? And?

    Microsoft is constantly updating the definitions, adding new threats to them as malware and viruses constantly mutate.
