    Hello
    ShehabKK
    ,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. We understand that you're facing trouble using Windows 10 Technical preview and we're sorry for your inconveniences. Right now, reportedly, Windows 10 Technical Preview (Build 9926)
    have
    some knows issues
which include occasional malfunctioning of the Start Menu.

Just for better understanding of the situation, have you installed all the necessary updates that are available for your Windows through Windows Update? You can check for KB3036140 (which precedes over KB3035129 and KB3034229)
update in your Windows Update history. This update is known to fix some issues of Start Menu.

Let us know about this. Hope this helps,

Yes, I get a need to restart, followed by some kind of memory error pop-up, followed by repeated failures to retry the update.
I am going back to a backup before the latest build from over a week ago, reinstalling the latest preview, and trying the updates again. Sigh.. This build is a mess.

As far as I can tell the only change it made was adding the 'update branch' option.

I tried from a backup - same thing - failures (but no memory error this time). I am now going to try fresh iso install.

Doesn't work, it just re-instates the 'Preview Builds' link in PC Settings. *Sad
(it also re-instates Windows Update in Control Panel!)

Worked for me. I set it to 0 and I did updates and got the same result as you. I then set it back to 1 and everything seems fine now (no failed update or windows update in control panel etc.). Says my device is up-to-date.

This preview build offered in WU today isn't intended for outside users. Was a goof by MS. Only for MS employees. That's why you can't download it.

As airbot pointed out, MS goofed and exposed PBs that didn't belong on the fast or slow rings.

KB3035129 preceded the erroneous PBs 9931 / 9932 - it was the PBs not KB3035129 that was scwewy.

I'm late on this, but Neowin has a good write up:
    Pb 9931 / 9932
