Glad to hear that uninstalling the update has worked for others. It's crazy that a MS update could break all browsers other than Edge.

I've paused updated for 7 days, but after that it'll no doubt reinstall automatically. Hopefully MS will have sorted it by then..... ha.

I find that it also messes up the sender settings in Settings/System/Notification and actions. It turns them all on or turns them on in various patterns, whatever it wants except for what I set it for. It doesn't hold settings and just makes like a surprise. I uninstalled the update and everything is back to normal and I used show/hide tool to try and block it for now.

  3. I'm going to just repost here what I wrote in the KB update thread. "After installing this update Vivaldi was messed up a little, opening several tabs upon starting and the homepage had reverted back to the Vivaldi site; as well my Search engine setting had reverted back to the default. Had to go through the process of resetting everything twice before all was well."

I have same issue. But I fixed it - uninstall (I hope temporary) Commodo firewall. After that all ok.

    Interesting about Comodo.

I did originally have it installed and uninstalled it as the first thing I tried before reinstalling the KB. However IE/Chrome still failed to work.

I've been reading through Comodo forums and it seems they are working on a fix for all of their products. Hopefully they can push that out in the next few days!

I only had Comodo Firewall installed. I use Avast for AV - did also uninstall this too just incase but it appeared to be solely down to the update.
