    KB4093112 - Error 0x80092004

No sorry, I haven't ran the dism command. I skipped it because I thought that what you said under it (uninstalled the 2 duplicate KBs from the Control Panel) was instead of all of what was written in that code section, since the first line in the code section stated that KB.

    1) So now I ran that DISM command.
    2) Restarted the computer
    3) Trying to install: kb4058258. Installed Successfully. Restarted the computer.
    4) Trying to install the small 13mb update you just mentioned: kb4074608. Got a message saying: "The update is not applicable to your computer"
    5) Trying to install: kb4074588. Installed Successfully. Restarted the computer.
    6) Trying to install: kb4093112. Installed Successfully. Restarted the computer.

Wow! It actually worked this time! That is so amazing. Thank you so much yolbulduran!!

I've tried all your suggestions, but the same error occurs, it installs the update to 100% and then throws the 0x80092004 error.

Sorry to ask, but it's not clear from your post: have you tried downloading and installing Reset Windows Update tutorial? Hard to recommend a course of action when we don't know what you've tried to do to fix the issue. Know you're a long-time regular here, but still need more info, please!
Thanks in advance for your added details.
    Best wishes, too.

  6. I was having some issues with update similar to this last night. Installing KB4093112 manually seems to have more or less fixed them for me.

    Hi Ed,
Sorry I didn't include more info in my first post; I kept it very compact =)
I'll go into more details. I've only tried reinstalling the update by pressing the Retry button through Windows Update, multiple times after it fails. I've tried the Resetting Windows Update tutorials before, but I'll try it again after I post this.

    Okay:
    1) I tried using WUMT (there was also the same error. It was installing, then it said that the install was unsuccessful. I tried restarting the computer to see if it installed anyways, but no. Windows Update still says the same thing like in the screen shot posted above).
    2) I've tried other "Resetting Windows Update" methods other than Shawn Brink's method. I never knew he had this "all-in-one" method that does various fixes. That's a really cool little "bat" file that does many things. I'm gonna hold on to that little utility =)
But it's just unfortunate that this little "Compilation Of Various Windows Update Fixes" bat file didn't solve this particular problem. I really like that utility though; I opened it in Notepad to see what it does, and there's actually many attempts at various methods to fix Windows Update. Cool little tool. I'm hanging on to this =)
    3) Thanks Ed for the little tutorial about downloading the updates through Microsoft's website. I actually have that site saved in my favorites and I think I remember trying it that method a few days ago, but it still error'd out. (I was hoping this method works when I tried it a few days ago) =\
    4) Just now, I downloaded: WHDownloader (Windows Hotfix Downloader 2.3) [or in other words WHDownloader = White House Downloader] =D
And I found and downloaded the update file itself: Windows10.0-KB4093112-x64.msu and tried to install it this way. Yet it also error'd out. I attached a photo of the error.
It's so disappointing that I get all these computer problems. I help people with their computer problems, and in return I get all these unfair & unsolvable computer errors, that no one knows how to solve.

Strange Search Indexer Issue - Windows 10 Forums

God just likes making my life impossible and annoying. It's sad to experience all this in a conscious state of mind. I don't understand why trying to be a nice person, in general, leads to negative outcomes for me. I understand I shouldn't really be posting this, but I want people to understand that I have a crappy life. (That's the reason why sometimes I may be rude in comments or whatnot. It's not intentional nor an attempt at any attack, it's just frustrating. It's frustrating to notice that when I try to help people, I end up making it worse for me, in general terms.)
Anyways, maybe talking about it out loud would help my spirits notice that this is not the way things are supposed to be; that things are supposed to be much better for me.

@pepanee: I'd go ahead and try the repair install next if I were you. I just read another thread a few minutes ago from a user here at TF with the same general problem (Updates stuck, can't install a pending cumulative update) who tried this technique and it worked for him. That's a good sign, but not a guarantee, that the same strategy MIGHT work for you. At least this doesn't take very long. Hopefully, it will work. Best of luck, in any case!

Pulcinella: I'm trying post #78 right now. I did the command, restarted, and attempting to install. We'll see if it successfully finishes.
Ed: Yes, that would've been my solution from the beginning (to do the repair install), yet I want to avoid going through that hassle. The reason why I call it a hassle is that every time I did a repair install, many custom settings that I have in Windows 10 go back to the default setting. And that is very annoying and frustrating to re-customize again. I don't want to look around to how to re-do a certain custom setting that I have for certain topic matters. I want to avoid that solution for now. I want to see what happens within the next few days. But it's very annoying to have the idea that I am being "forced" to go through this certain scenario.

    Pulcinella: It didn't work.
I am confused by when you said restart 25 times. What do you mean by that? Should I restart the computer 25 times and try again?

  14. You can check the thread I started, Windows Update Alert. In there you can see my issue and following steps I took to fix it.
Regarding the 25+ time I had to restart and check for update and restart, it may be pertinent only to my particular computer set up and poor skills. It would truly take too long to details step by step the actions I end up having to take.

In short I could not even check for update manually, nor installing KB4093112 from WU nor the file I downloaded from Microsoft. Going through @usikpa fix gave me access to WU again. From there I was update from Build 16299.192 to 248 then to 334.
Then I had to go through the roller coaster of restarts to finish to install KB4093112.

    I have Windows Build: 16299.192

Okay after summarizing all that from your link: Windows Update Alert - Windows 10 Forums
I reached the conclusion that "trustedinstaller start= auto" is the main factor. So I did the research of what the Service's name is in Services.msc: "trustedinstaller" refers to "Windows Modules Installer". I set that service to Automatic. I started the service. I tried installing 16299.248 (which is February 13, 2018—KB4074588), yet the update wasn't successful. So I restarted the computer and tried to install it again, yet apparently the Windows Modules Installer service went back to being set as Manual. The install wasn't successful again.

On another "alternate" note: It's unfair that I have to go through all this stress for no reason. I really like the idea of being up-to-date and having things fixed in my life (it's practically a requirement for me), but I get forced to not be that. I'm usually good at being a "repairer" and fixing technical issues, yet I get negatively inspired by others (or hackers) that I'm not good at doing what I do best.
Suppose that you're in my shoes (I wear a size US 9 or 9 & a half *chuckle), what "message" do you think that these people/hackers are trying to send me? What conclusion am I supposed to reach?
