The fix did not try to install on any later date or time.

Chip: Intel i5-7400

RAM: 8 GB

Failed to install on ‎07/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643

I just posted a similar problem, sounds the same. My failed is "Failed to install on ‎12/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643 December 12, 2017—KB4054517 (OS Build 16299.125) " I think this might be a error code on the end?

Trying a manual install, it says it is already installed.

So Microsoft, there are MULTIPLE update errors like this ????? The solution suggested to me was to reinstall the update components. Not changing anything.

Hi,

I checked my OS Build and it says I am still on 16299.125. Then I followed the steps on this forum and tried to install it manually. When it began to install, it said I was already on 16299.192, even though in the Windows Update, it keeps trying to install
it. I restarted again and again it said failed to install.

Any suggestions?

 

KB4457128 (OS Build 17134.285) update - affecting McAfee Webadvisor

Following the KB4457128 (OS Build 17134.285) update over the weekend, my McAfee Webadvisor is not working thereafter on Firefox. I have contacted McAfee support and after running a couple of diagnostics, I was advised to refer this problem to Microsoft.

I wonder if anyone using McAfee is also having this problem?
