Windows 10: KB4464330 - Update and Firefox

Last night I installed this update along with the update to Flash that was also offered. The first install of KB4464330 failed but on reboot it worked second time round.


This morning I tried to start Firefox (my default browser and the latest version) but it failed to display and effectively locked up my machine. Finally I found the process in the task manager and stopped it there. I have currently uninstalled Firefox in the interests of having a functional computer but wonder whether it's the update 'fixing' version 1809 or the change to Adobe Flash that trashed it. Anyone know?

Mozilla Firefox 3 Updated to 3.0.1

Mozilla has released an update for their Firefox 3 web-browser. The update brings. Changes as condensed in the Release notes include:

A list of security issues fixed is issued here.

Current Firefox 3 users will be automatically updated.

Video Issues in Windows 10 With Firefox

  Is the issue occurs in Microsoft Edge?

  Let us know whether the issue is specific to online videos or it is happening with other videos present in your system too?
  
  As the initial troubleshooting steps, I would suggest you to check all the available Windows Updates. Installation of recent Windows Updates should fix the issue.
  
  If the issue still persists, then try updating the Display driver and check. Here is the steps:
  

• Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.
• Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• In Display Adapter, expand Display Adapter, right-click , and then click
  Update.

If the issues persists ,only with firefox then i suggest you to contact firefox support.

Mozilla Firefox Updated to 3.0.4

Mozilla released an update to its latest web browser, Firefox 3. The browser has been updated to sub-version 3.0.4, with several security patches, bug fixes and localization features added to the mix. To begin with, Mozilla patched several moderate-thru-critical vulnerabilities which include excecution of malicious code remotely, and crashes leading to memory corruption. Mozilla also squished several bugs as listed in the Bug List. The company expanded localization for Firefox, with stable releases in Icelandic and Thai, and beta releases in Bulgarian, Esperanto, Estonian, Latvian, Occitan, and Welsh languages, which are open for testing till they reach stable-grade in subsequent releases.
