Improvements and fixes

This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

Addresses an issue that may prevent the use of the Seek Bar in Windows Media Player when playing specific files. This issue does not affect normal playback.

Security updates to Windows Authentication, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Edge, and Microsoft
Scripting Engine.

If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update.

Windows 10 Update

I am using Windows 10 Version 1809 OS Build 17763.168 and keep getting the following Error 0x80070005 when trying to install 2018-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4471332). I have tried several solutions from the
Microsoft support site but nothing has worked.

 

Numerous Event 1534 Warning Messages After Dec. Updates

Today I received the Patch Tuesday Dec. updates which were KB4471332, KB4470788 and I also received Win 10 Version 1809. I had no problems with the installation of the updates nor have I seen or experienced any problems with my computer since the updates.
I have noticed in my Event Viewer under Applications that I am now receiving numerous warnings about User Profile Service Event ID 1534 (see screenshots). Should I ignore these warnings or what. I am really hesitant with screwing around in the registry. Please
advise.

My computer is an HP Omen using Win 10 Home 64 Bit with Intel 7th Generation Core i7-7700 3.6 gigahertz, 16GB DDR4 SDRAM 2133 megahertz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070.
