Windows 10: KB4493509 update

Discus and support KB4493509 update in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have windows 10 Pro, version 1809, Os build 17763.437 [as I see in settings/About].     I have windows 10 Pro, version 1809, Os build 17763.437 [as I see in settings/About]. In "view update history" I see that on 16/04/2019 the KB4493509 update was installed successfully. On the same date the KB4486553, KB4493478, KB4480056 updates were also installed successfully. After these installations Windows try to install again the KB4493509 update but after 14 tries always the installation fails with the Error 0x800f0900. I searched internet to find a solution without a result. I downloaded Wu 10.diagcab and when I run it I get the names of "Windows update", "background intelligent transfer service" and "windows network diagnostics" but the final the answer is "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem". Please for your help

    Kb4493509 Update Problems

    Hello,

    there is an huge problem with the Kb4493509 Update.

    Me and an friend got the Update yesterday evening and installed it after the installation and the reboot our system doesn't work correctly.

    After an deinstallation of the Kb4493509 the systems work perfectly fine.

    We tested it on some other devices too and had the same issue on every System.

    Can someone confirm this on his own system?

    Going to –Control Panel/Programs and Features//View installed updates

    I see Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4493509) Installed On 2019-04-12

    On my laptop: Going to - Settings/Windows Update/View update history

    I see 2019-04 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x-64 based systems (KB4493509)

    Requires a restart to finish installing (Doing a restart does nothing)

    Going to –Control Panel/Programs and Features//View installed updates

    I see Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4493509) Installed On 4/12/2019

    So: Seeing that KB4493509 is no longer being offered to me, I will assume that it is now installed on both my machines, quit worrying about it, and get on with my life!
