I recently downloaded KB4501375, and still, it says on settings that there is an additional update. Which is KB4501375. Please help!

Hi Lucrezia,

Well, that depends, yes you would want to install the newest cumulative update (KB4501375) as there are many improvements and fixes incorperated.

But first lets take a look at the update history of the device to see if KB4501375 tried to install and failed or not. Go to Settings>Update & Security>then click on View update
history.

There were two cumulative updates released on 6/27/19, one for .NET framework and one for Windows 10 OS. On some devices the .NET framework update installed first and then
after it completed its restart the notification for KB4501375 showed up as you describe. On systems were KB4501375 installed first then both installed together.

Here are examples of each from Update history of two different devices:









The KB4501375 update then installed without issue when Download and/or Install now was clicked in the notification on that device (the first update history image shown above).

Hi Richard,

If I have windows 10 version 1903 Os Build 18362.175 then is it better not to download the optional update KB4501375? Please give me confirmation so I don't make the mistake, in all ways it's an optional update or not?
