  1. KB4512508, KB4515384 and 100% CPU load (Windows 10)

When Windows 10 Enterprise system (version 1903, build 18362.239) has first been upgraded to KB4512508, I started experiencing the following annoying problem: after the remote desktop session is disconnected (not logged out), CPU load raised to 100%, system quickly was becoming irresponsible. I had to do hard reset to continue using system.

If I logged out during remote desktop session, no such problem occurred.

I uninstalled KB4512508 and hid it, as temporary solution, but next upgrade (KB4515384) that superseded it, causes the same problem.

As there any practical means to at least learn what's happening to the system in such a situation? Also, it is possible to get actual tech.support from Microsoft in such cases?

    :)

  3. KB4512508, KB4515384 and 100% CPU load (Windows 10)

    Hi KonstantinBoyandin

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor.

Report this to Microsoft so that this issue can be fixed in future updates. Press Windows Key+F to invoke Feedback Hub to send the issue to Microsoft.

I would suggest that you uninstall the latest KB update and hide it so that it doesn't install it automatically and wait for new update to come which will be installed automatically.

Microsoft has provided a tool Show/Hide Updates tool to block the update

Download the tool from below link

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f2...

When you run this troubleshooter, it will search for available updates and list them

Select the update which you want to hide. Click Next and follow on-screen directions

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.

Was this the log for manual update as it is showing following as well? Manual update should not show KB4512508 error. It should be shown only through Windows update.
