Windows 10: KB4517389 installed, will not uninstall

    KB4517389 installed, will not uninstall


    Now all programs that use the .net framework will not work. No quickbooks, no MSi Control panel, no backup, excel can't work etc.

    Tried to uninstall, says it can't do it, tried to repair .net using fix from microsoft, tried to reinstall .net but error says I have to enable the .net framework in windows features .net framework is no longer even available in the windows features


    tried to enable the .net as shown below, says it is finished, but then go back in and box still blank.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused KB4517389 installed, will not uninstall :confused:

    Anyone else seeing BSOD issues in cldflt.sys after installing KB4517389

    Thanks, Vijay. However:

    1. As far as I can see that file is not installed on my system; and
    2. SetupRST.exe tells me that my platform is not supported.

    Since installing KB4517389 makes the error occur, and removing it solves the error, isn't it more likely to be an issue with that update?
