Windows 10: KB4551762 install failure error 800f080d OS Build 18363.657

Discus and support KB4551762 install failure error 800f080d OS Build 18363.657 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've seen a thread concerning an install failure of KB4551762 with different error codes and different OS builds but none with this OS Build 18363.657....     I've seen a thread concerning an install failure of KB4551762 with different error codes and different OS builds but none with this OS Build 18363.657. The first attempt though the Windows update occurred on 3/13/2020 it is now 4/6/2020.


    I've gone through the update articles associated with these threads and have confirmed that the correct service stack is installed this was done automatically through Windows update in Jan 2020. In addition, I have tried the manual download and install of the KB4551672 update - to no avail - still fails


    It is now 4/6/2020 tried to install KB4551762 again via Windows update and get the following error statement: 2020-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems KB4551762 - Error 0x800f0900 . Watching the update window the install gets to 100%, then the error message displays.


    Is there an updated resolution for this? Is Microsoft working this issue other than what's been listed above.

    KB4551762 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.720 and v1909 build 18363.720 Win Update

    Just installed it on 2 machines with no hiccup. Also no top banner in Windows Settings' window.
