Windows 10: KB4574727 failed to install

The windows automatically updated when I turned off my laptop last night, I didn't encounter any problem until I tried connecting my laptop to a bluetooth speaker which was properly working yesterday as I was using it, it connects but the sound won't come out through the speaker instead it still comes out from my laptop, tried disconnecting the pair but it shows "driver error", I checked out device manager and find that there's a new "other devices" with yellow exclamation mark which is Microsoft_HFP_Audio_Device_97 when I try to update drivers it results in "Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device. Driver found but error installing: Microsoft bluetooth hands-free audio device. Cannot perform installation at this time" tried uninstalling it, it unpairs the bluetooth connection but it comes back when I try to pair with anything bluetooth related. I figured it must've something to do with the latest update.

I looked into the update history and there I see that the latest quality update KB4574727 failed to install as well as KB4576484 but Windows Update is telling me that "You're up to date" tried check for updates and it still says that.

Things I tried:

- Tried troubleshooting a couple of times and restart. It didn't do anything.

- troubleshoot option on windows update
result: "Check for Windows Update issues Detected: Detects issues related to Windows Update." also says resolved.


- troubleshoot option on bluetooth

result: "check bluetooth radio status: Fixed"



- uninstall update through view update history>uninstall updates there it says "An error has occured. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled."


- uninstall update through winre the error says 0x80070017 CRC i forgot the exact sentence


- uninstall update through cmd using wusa /uninstall /KB:4574727 "Installer encountered an error: 0x80070017 Data error cyclic redundancy check."


- manually install KB4574727 on microsoft update catalog, downloaded the exact same thing on update history windows 10 version 1903 for x64-based system. Windows update standalone installer pops up and says "Update for windows KB4574727 is already installed on this computer."


- system restore, unfortunately there was only 1 restore point and it was before the update, checked out the hardware changes and it showed there that it has something to do with bluetooth. I proceeded but the system restore failed and it just restarts and in the desktop an error pops up and says no changes are made.

I have no problem on anything just this bluetooth issue so I don't really mind but if it can be fixed then I appreciate any help.

Did you run update troubleshooter from Settings?

Try to install offline package

What is the error code of installation?

 

KB4025339 Fails Install 0x80070564

I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
