  1. KB4580325 wiped out my update history

Last week, my Windows 10 PC wanted to install Features Update to Windows 10, Version 2004.

After this and a few other updates, I looked, and it wiped out all my Windows Update history, except this and a few others that were installed the next day. Is this a problem everything else seems to be working fine.

    Verbose explanation:

I first tried to install KB4580325, and after the 2nd automatic reboot I think, this update seemed to be stuck at 90% no hard drive activity for over a half hour. Finally, I forced shutdown a few times, and it kept coming up at 90% completion. Finally, after an hour or so, it said it completed successfully. But I was having issues probably because of the forced shutdowns, so I installed an earlier image of the HD from a few weeks ago. I let it run KB4580325 again overnight, and it successfully completed.

I thought my PC did this update earlier in the year. Also, why would Windows Update sit there for over a half hour with no HD activity. It is an older but beefy PC from April 2011, which runs 24/7, crunching projects in the background. It has an I7 processor, 2TB hard drive that only has a little over 100GB used, and 12 GB of RAM. And I have a very fast internet connection.

    :)

Update History Not Displaying Latest Update

If nothing shows in update history, try clicking on 'uninstall updates'. Sometimes this list is more complete. Having said that, I have nothing new in either list. Bree

Thanks, Bree. I followed your suggestion and it worked. KB4580325 wiped out my update history :)
