Windows 10: KB4589212 intel microcode Cu failed install

    KB4589212 intel microcode Cu failed install


    I have a Ryzen 9 3900 cpu and this intel microcode has downloaded daily all thru March then failed too install. I did not request this update. I thought it might eventually figure itself in the wrong place and now today there is a successfully installed kb4589212 and the failed to install notes are gone from the update history. I have not had issues with the networked printer so I did not do that printer fix cu. 20H2 19042.906 - April 2 cu kb500842 install completely with no faults after sfc /scannow I put this post together today since I could not get past time out issues with the TenForums host server this past week and now it appears that Intel microcode cu has figured itself out. Updates are becoming an adventure. Rose

    Yes, I think the list should be updated

    I have 2 other laptops with newer version of intel microcode, but not from UEFI update (they loaded by Microsoft Windows 10 Pro)
