Windows 10: KB4592438 error 0x800f081f

Hi.


At 15.11.2020 I successfully updated my Windows 10 Home x64 to build 20H2. Soon after started Windows Update to try to install an update KB4592438, allways with error 0x800f081f. My system build is 19042.630. Nothing I have found on Internet helped yet issues with .NET, deletion of Update file in Windows system file. The troubleshooter has also found nothing. Is there anything I can do or simply I ignore it? Is there any risk with this error?

I take an error 0x800f081f and cant install KB4592438. Any suggestion ?

Is the same if you install the MSU instead of via Windows Update?

I have followed the instructions below until i get to set 2. and it is just jargon to me... what does mount the iso image that's created in step 1?

Is there a simple youtube video i can just follow?

To fix the error codes for Windows 10, follow these steps:

1. Download the Windows Media Creation tool, and create an ISO image locally, or create an image for the version of Windows that you have installed.
2. Configure the Group Policy as in Method 2, but also follow these steps:
   1. Mount the ISO image that's created in step 1.
   2. Point the "Alternate source file path" to the ISO sources\sxs folder from the ISO.
   3. Run the gpupdate /force command.
   4. Add the .Net framework feature.
