Windows 10: KB5000802 failed to install 0x80073712

I cannot seem to get this update to install.


I've run the Windows update troubleshooter, It said it found problems and corrected them. Restart, try again, same issue.


Then DISM and SFC, restart... the same result.


Stopped and restarted the Update components, Same result.


Tried the standalone installer-Same result.



Can anyone assist?

win10 18.03 failed install 0x80073712

good day all
my child hasn't been keeping up with windows up dates and there was a hickup .
my child has a laptop with no cd/dvd dis player, so i'm tring to use a usb key with Win10_1903_V1_English_x64.iso image installed with Rufus.
the computer has installed all updates listed except :



then i get this :



error: 0x80073712
witch leads me to running this command to fix :
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source*Biggrin:\Source\SxS /LimitAccess
D:\Source\SxS = usb Win10_1903_V1_English_x64 installed on key with Rufus.
when the above line DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source*Biggrin:\Source\SxS /LimitAccess is ran as admin i get this :



right now i'm downloading :
Win10_1809Oct_v2_English_x64.iso
but the version in the admin terminal says 17.134.165 so i'm not sure this is going to help me ?

im not sure what to do to correct this problem, i do have the CBS.log and the dism.log i can post .

Ok, followed the steps in the directions you linked but I couldn't see how step 4 in red was done even after I maximized my screen to try to read the screen shot in red for step 4. It just isn't easy to read to see what is being done.

KB4284848 fails with Error Code 0x80073712

I have attempted to install KB4284848 several times but continue to get error code 0x80073712.

Reading through some of the community posts, I ran WuReset 2.0 for windows 10, as the administrator, and the KB continued to fail installation.

Other suggestions?
