  1. KB5001649

    I tried to install it through windows updates and that was failing. That is what brought me to the community website and everyone was saying they had best luck installing it manually through the Microsoft catalog.

    I am having issues installing this update manually. It keeps telling me this update couldn't be installed. When i look at windows updates through settings I see it says 0x80073701.

    I tried doing a sfc /scannow. I tried doing DISM /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth... and /restorehealth. Neither of those seem to help at all. Not sure where or what I should look at next in order to get this installed. Yes I am signed into an admin account and when I ran those in command prompt I ran them as administrator.

    OS Build = 19042.867

    feature build = 20H2

    Model = Dell Inspiron 3580

    :)
